Courts Released new debut EP ‘Part Of’

Courts – aka Dan, Luke, Reece, Chris and Joe – are a hot new band from Basildon, Essex. They unleash their debut EP “Part Of” on 23 March via Invader Music. First single to be released from the EP is the addictive and energetic “Part Of”, which showcases the band’s unique sound and unmistakeable talent. It’s a delicious blend of hip hop, indie and funk, with a sound lending itself to worthy comparison with the likes of The Streets and Stone Roses. The Essex boys have carved out their own hybrid genre, one that makes them impossible to define and an extremely welcome addition to a UK music scene saturated with samey and generic indie bands.

Courts have already received radio airplay and support from Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1, Jen and Ally at BBC Introducing and BBC Essex. Definitely ones to watch in 2015!
