In August 2024, he dropped th his track ‘Madafaka’ featuring Ils Ilis, showcasing his genre-defying style and marking a new milestone in his growing career. The track was paired with a trippy, fever-dream-inspired black-and-white music video directed by Aylin Aslan, which takes viewers on a wild ride through urban landscapes and surreal beach scenes, accompanied by an energetic and charismatic performance from the dancer.

Drawing inspiration from early Mr. Oizo tracks, ‘Madafaka’ embraces a raw, left-field approach to production that’s both unpredictable and liberating. “We were incredibly excited when starting this track,” Smitech recalls. “It came from a place of pure instinct and energy. There’s something so freeing about that raw, left-field approach to production, and we wanted to tap into that same chaos.” 
The creative process behind the track was an exciting collaboration between Smitech Wesson and Ils Ilis, with both artists feeding off each other’s energy. Ils Ilis added gnarly textures and warped vocal chops, enhancing the gritty, chaotic vibe that defines the track. “It became a back-and-forth of pushing boundaries,” Smitech explains. “It’s messy in the best way — a burst of controlled chaos.”
